In reality, Minecraft yesterday again, the milestone of 600 million active players, including 400 million for China alone.
Being a game that cultivates its creative spirit and the fact that it has such a massive player base, it’s no surprise that the Minecraft community is home to amazing fan-created content and projects.
For example, a dedicated player recreated The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in its entirety – boss fights, items, locations and more. Fan recreations are not a rare thing to happen in Minecraft, in fact, it is one of the most popular projects for fans of the game.
More often than not, fans are primarily focused on recreating iconic and hugely popular locations, or perhaps specific sets featured in other video game titles. For example, the summer of this year saw the re-creation of War zone Gulag in Minecraft thanks to the hard work of a player.
However, it looks like YouTuber Rivero created one of the most impressive recreations of Minecraft the story.
This plan of Rivero to recreate The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time to Minecraft started in 2013. According to a Interview Rivero had with PCGamesN, he started this project on the Xbox 360 in 2013, but he decided to abandon this concept three years later and started from scratch Minecraft PC version instead.
Seven years have passed since Rivero began, and now his Ocarina of time construction is finally complete. He successfully recreated the entirety of the classic video game in the block world of Minecraft, and fans have the option to download it for free. For those interested, the download link can be found in the description section of the trailer posted on YouTube.
By downloading the global version of Rivero, The Legend of Zelda fans will be able to relive Ocarina of time in a completely different way. Players will be able to travel through the land of Hyrule with Minecraft aesthetic – from Kokiri Forest to the final boss fight in Ganondorf.
What makes Rivero even more commendable is the fact that he created the world using Vanilla. Minecraftwhich means he didn’t use any type of mod to help him create or shape the world. He only used the already existing control blocks present in the game. There is also a full timeline on Rivero’s Discord showing his progress over the years.
Without a doubt, Rivero Minecraft recreation of the beloved The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is amazing and definitely one of the best built in the world. Coincidentally, this recreation mixes two companies that have worked together recently.
Recently Nintendo announced that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate The DLC fighter is Steve from Minecraft. On the other hand, both Xbox and Nintendo have worked with Minecraft in the past too. We hope that Rivero’s amazing project inspires others to create their own amazing Nintendo-themed versions of the world as well.
